COMIC RELIEF - RED NOSE DAY – Include a page in your yearbook and Meno will make a donation!

By Noel Harding 17 Comments »

Over the years we have seen many schools and colleges include articles and montages of the Red Nose Day events that have been organised appearing in their yearbooks.  These pages are always fun and exciting and sure to bring back funny memories in years to come.  And all in a good cause!

The fund-raising ideas are varied, but teachers making fools of themselves in fancy dress is always a favourite!  If you are planning something, I hope you have great fun doing it!

In support of Comic Relief, Meno Yearbooks will donate directly to Comic Relief 10 pence for each copy of the yearbook ordered by a school or college that includes a Red Nose Day page in their book.

Individually Designed Photo & Article Pages for Your Yearbook

By Claire Surtees 17 Comments »

Creating photo and article pages for your yearbook is very simple and they will make your yearbook look fantastic and truly unique.  All you need to do is upload your photographs and text to your online yearbook and we will do the rest.  Our design team will put together stunning pages for you.

To set up your pages, go to the 'Page Creation' tab when you are logged in as editor and click on 'create feature'.  You can select the feature type:

1. Choose 'montage' to include up to 18 photos.  Capture memories from parties, the prom, your productions, your plays, sports teams.

2. Choose 'montage with captions' for up to 12 photos, each with a caption.  Expand your memories with some words or simply label the photo.

3  Chose 'article' if you would like to include lots of text and you can also include up to 6 photos. This gives is perfect for an introduction from the Head or head of year, an opportunity to review your trips, productions, sporting achievements in more detail.

4. Choose 'single image' for one photo on a page.  Why not include a class photo or select this page if you would like to include a page which you have designed yourself.

5.  Choose 'meno page' to select the design for your award page, add a messages page or an almanac to remember important world events during your leaving year.

Remember at the bottom of each page, there is a box called 'comments for the designer'.  If you have some ideas about how your page should look, please put them here and our design team take these into account when putting your pages together.  Don't worry, if you don't have any specific ideas, our designers will make your pages look fantastic!

Don't hesitate to ask Noel, Zoe or Claire for more help & guidance!
